The short story
It started as a small cup in the harbor of Åhus. The founder, Mats G Jönsson, had to call and persuade all 75 teams to join. Not many believed in a future for the Åhus Beach Cup! But with joy, passion, and respect, one can go far. Today, the tournament is Europe’s largest beach handball event.
